PIVACY POLICY

I. General Provisions

  • This Privacy Policy outlines the method of collecting, processing, and storing personal data necessary for providing electronic services via the website at the domain www.mdotm.pl (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").

  • The personal data administrator for Users is Zbigniew Majkowski, operating under the business name P.P.H.U. Majkowski, located at Zygmuntowska Street 10 a, 05-270 Marki, NIP: 1250084257 (hereinafter referred to as the "Administrator").   • Personal data is processed in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as "GDPR").

  • The data collected by the Administrator will be: – processed lawfully,– processed for specific purposes and not further processed for purposes incompatible with those,– factually accurate and adequate to the purposes for which it is processed,– stored no longer than necessary to achieve the purpose of processing.


    II. Purpose and Legal Basis for Data Processing
     

  • The Administrator processes personal data necessary to provide and develop the services offered through the Service and its individual functionalities.

  • Personal data will be processed for the following purposes: a. Account registration, verification of the User’s identity, and performance of the electronic service agreement in accordance with the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services, particularly by enabling the use of the User’s account – based on acceptance of the Terms of Service (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR);b. Communication with the User to provide necessary information and build positive and reliable relationships, which is the Administrator’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR);c. Promotion of the Administrator's products and/or services, and those of its Partners, by sending marketing information via email (newsletter), provided the User has consented to receiving such notifications (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR);d. Providing access to information about industry news directly related to the Administrator’s business, provided the User has consented to receiving such notifications via email (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR);e. Analytical and statistical purposes based on the Administrator’s legitimate interest, which involves verifying User activity and preferences to optimize services, products, and functionalities of the Service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR);f. Potential establishment, assertion, or defense of claims based on the Administrator’s legitimate interest in protecting its rights (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

  • In each of the cases mentioned above (section 2), providing data is voluntary but necessary to conclude the agreement or use other functionalities of the Service.


    III. Period of Personal Data Processing
     

  • Personal data will be processed for the period during which the individual remains an active User of the Service (i.e., maintains a User account), and thereafter for a period necessary to comply with legal obligations, pursue or defend against claims, but no longer than 3 years from the date of termination of the electronic service agreement.

  • Data processed based on consent will be processed until the consent is withdrawn, with the reservation that the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.


    IV. Information About Processing
     

  • Personal data, depending on the purpose of processing, may be disclosed to: a. Entities affiliated with the Administrator,b. Entities cooperating with the Administrator,c. Subcontractors, particularly entities providing and servicing selected IT systems and solutions,d. Entities handling online payments,e. Entities providing courier and postal services,f. Law firms.

  • Personal data processed by the Administrator will be transferred outside the European Economic Area or to international organizations only in the case of fulfilling orders outside of Poland.


    V. Rights of Data Subjects
     

  • The User of the Service has the right to:

  • Access their personal data,

  • Rectify their data,

  • Erase their data,

  • Restrict the processing of their data,

  • Transfer their data,

  • Object to the processing based on the legitimate interest of the Administrator,

  • Withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out based on the consent before its withdrawal.

  • The User has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection if they believe that their rights and freedoms are being violated by the processing.

  • The processing of data does not involve automated decision-making, including profiling.


    VI. Final Provisions
     

  • The Administrator reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy, ensuring that Users' rights resulting from this document are not restricted.

  • Any changes to the Privacy Policy will be communicated to Users through a notice available on the Service.
